Certified Quality Assurance

The immunoglobulin Type G (IgG) content of colostrum is the traditional measure of its quality and effectiveness. APS tests and certifies the IgG content of its colostrum powders using in-house High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The HPLC is weekly calibrated with IgG standards, and checked with independent Radial Immunodiffusion (RID).

Analytical Chemistry

All products are sampled and tested using approved testing methods. Protein, fat, lactose, ash, and moisture are recorded for all products.

Analytical Microbiology

Aerobic Plate Count (APC or SPC), Coliforms, E.Coli, Yeast and Mold, and Salmonella are recorded for each product batch.

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

APS is cGMP and is inspected by the United States Food and Drug Administration. APS products are Kosher and Halal.
